Plastic Pallets

Certain applications require a more durable pallet, or in more hygienic conditions. In such cases, PPS supplies plastic pallets.

We generally supply long life plastic pallets, requiring little or no maintenance. These pallets are often used in the food industry or when washing and sterilising may be necessary.

Plastic pallets are ideal in most material handling systems and especially in highly automated applications where dimensional stability and high strength are key factors.

PPS supplies plastic pallets in standard sizes (1200 x 1000mm or 1200 x 800mm Europallet). We can also supply other dimensions on demand.

Timber Pallets

Our timber pallets are manufactured to the highest industry standards - we can supply standard 1200 x 1000mm pallets or 1200 x 800mm Europallets, or indeed any custom specification. Just contact us for details.

PPS pallets comply with all major standards, and are sprayed, either in our own colours with logos to ensure clear identification; or in custom colours.

Wooden pallets, no matter how robust, require repairs - PPS will remove damaged pallets either for repair at our workshops or at a customer’s own location. Timber pallets may also be reinforced for particularly heavy duty use.

Our timber pallets are reusable pallets and are suited for short to long-term usage in most work environments and conditions.

Düsseldorfer Pallets

PPS has introduced a half size timber Euro pallet (800 x 600mm) at a major supplier in the healthcare sector.

Dusseldorfer pallets are currently used for point of sale at some of the major discount retailers across the UK.

Pallet Adaptor

PPS has developed the new pallet adapter on the request of a customer in the bakery industry. The pallet adapter, made from rugged ABS plastic will fit any 1200 x 1000mm pallet and can easily be customised to client's specific requirements.

Its main purpose is to allow wheeled dollies to be transported, stored or racked on standard pallets. It was developed principally as a space-saving device for a client producing baked products which are subsequently frozen.

Using the pallet adapter means that pallets can accommodate wheeled dollies loaded with crates full of baked produce. These pallets are then racked in the freeze section and when ready for outward shipment can be transported to site where the dollies are simply rolled off the pallet.

Products

PPS offers a range of plastic trays and plastic crates and boxes for different application areas. These vary in dimensions and are aimed at different industry sectors.

The food industry is moving away from non-returnable packaging, such as cardboard. The use of returnable plastic crates incorporated into a loop or integrated system continues to find favour with a growing number of retailers and wholesalers. This also applies increasingly to the healthcare sector who tend to favour lidded boxes which can be sealed for security of contents.

Many of our returnable crates can be nested, allowing efficient use of storage and transport.

Roll Cages

PPS can supply a range of new or second hand wheeled roll cages, depending on your requirements.

Once the customer has decided which type of transport equipment, be it roll cage etc, PPS will put together a rental package tailored to their exact requirements.

Where clients already own equipment, PPS will provide management services, tracking and washing as required, to ensure the clients are getting the best possible return on their investment.
