Why Used Pallet Boxes?
Compared to wooden and timber pallets, plastic pallets are much more hardwearing and longer lasting. This means that used pallet boxes make a very good option for companies that are looking to build their pallet fleet, but on more of a budget.
Used pallet boxes come to the market in a number of ways. Often when a business is closing down they will sell off their existing pallet stock, or pallet pooling companies will replace their pallet fleet and then sell off their older pallet stock.
Unlike timber pallets, plastic pallets can be much more easily repaired. Welding techniques can be used on polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride pallets, meaning that previously damaged plastic pallets can be repaired on sold on (but obviously this must be disclosed upfront).
Also, with so much negative feeling about the environment impact of transporting goods around the world, the use of used pallet boxes is a great way to recycle perfectly usable goods and do your bit to cut down carbon footprint.
